I’ve used a mechanic tooth brush and tooth paste it seems to work for me. (tooth paste is mostly a polisher)
Step 1
Choose the right toothpaste. The key to using toothpaste as a silver jewelry cleaner is the baking soda. Do not use gel toothpaste, as it usually does not contain baking soda. And, dodge toothpastes that boast tartar-control or whitening power, as they may include chemicals that can harm your silver.
Step 2
Use a soft dampened cloth to clean more delicate jewelry or softer silvers. Wet the silver and add a dab of toothpaste. Remember that a small goes a long way. Rub gently with the moistened cloth in anticipation of polished.
Step 3
Add a bit more toothpaste if the cloth becomes dark with tarnish and continue cleaning. Simply wash the darkened toothpaste foam from the jewelry cut, rinse the cloth and start again.
Step 4
Scrub your silver jewelry gently with a toothbrush for stubborn tarnish or hard to reach grooves. Try to find an ancient worn toothbrush or buy a new soft-bristled toothbrush to prevent scratching.
Step 5
Rinse the polished silver jewelry in warm fill up and dry with a soft towel.
Never use a chemical cleanser as it strips a layer of silver from your cut, and in time you jewellery will really dull and lose the shine. Instead, opt for safe, at home cleaning alternatives such as toothpaste, baking soda or anti-dandruff shampoo.
Take a your jewellery add tiny amount of either the shampoo, toothpaste or baking soda and rub in with a bit of fill up. Depending on the tarnish, you can rub it in for a few seconds or in anticipation of you start to notice it getting cleaner. Wash off thoroughly with lukewarm fill up and dry with a soft cloth.
Your jewellery cut should shine.
To ensure it stays that way, keep away from light and heat, and store in a frivolous fabric bag or zip lock bag. Make sure you keep jewellery pieces separate so that they do not rub against one another.
Hope this helped.
