It depend on the company you’re buying from,they have their own specialists who check the feature, so if you trust the company you’re dealing with then they wouldn’t sell you fake, personally i have preferred to buy from the following companies:

That’s about $35,000. Checking density, etc. is better than nothing, but really, you should only be buying from people where you can sue their a**es or have them tossed in jail.

Check it’s density. Measure volume and weigth and divide the two.
If you’re accurate to 21.4 kilograms/liter it’s platinum.

Why would you ever want to bother with corporal metal when there is an active futures market for platinum out there?
