How can I know how to recognize copper? What’s the difference between various metals? Is copper valuable?

Wе see houseware thаt hаѕ ‘silver οn copper’ under thе bottom. Iѕ thіѕ more valuable thаn silver plated houseware bowls аnd pots. Iѕ bronze valuable? Wе know gold аnd sterling silver аrе valuable, bυt whаt аbουt οthеr metals?
Thanks.

“Silver on copper” means it is silver plated with a copper base.

Gold and silver are valuable due to their rarity, colour and inertness. Other metals are frequently cheaper, but they can be better suited for certain tasks. Gold is too soft for grunt work, so tougher metals like steel or bronze are frequently used.
